Plot Happens

My final pre-writing PDF is my plots sheet.  Yes, plots.  There’s room for four.  Here every plot in the book, from mystery main to romantic sub, can be broken down to their big points.

Plots

I do not have the next step, however.  This is when I take those plots and lay them out in relationship to each other in a spreadsheet.

While some people might do scene plotting after this, I don’t.  I use these bones and pants it…  Unless thoughts and things get complicated. Then, outline as I approach each scene in order to make sure all the important elements are there.

If that sounds confusing, no worries!  I stole it from this, which explains it better:

Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5

Any questions?
