Halloween Fiction Style

This weekend, my town ruins celebrates Halloween.  And, even though I was tempted to celebrate Halloween all month long… I couldn’t come up with good ideas.  Next year, I hope can do it.

Highlights From Last Year
 Halloween Music
The Raven Read by V Price
And a slightly late(r) post:
My Review of The Halloween Tree by Bradbury

Best thing I could come up with is where books and Halloween meet.  But, as I started looking through my favorite Halloween store’s site… It turned out these are where movies and Halloween and books meet.

Thing 1 from Cat In the Hat.  Hedwig from Harry Potter. (Why my kids so big?)  Dorthy from The Wizard of Oz. Curious George had an awful movie, so does he count less?  And the closest to not movie tie in is Sherlock Holmes, but he’s “always” been a classic.

So, instead I’m going to list three book characters I’d love to see walk down my street this year.

1- Rob Anybody or any other Nac Mac Feegle (Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett)
2- Amelia Bedelia (originally by Peggy Parish)
3- Captain Nemo (20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne)

What book characters do you want to hear say “Trick or Treat?”
Have you ever dressed up as a book character?  Which one?

Expect an extra post Halloween day,
with my Halloweenie Celebrations!
